Job title : SEN Teaching Assistant

Location : Huntingdon and the surrounding areas

Start date : As soon as possible

Full time : 8.30am - 3.30pm

Are you an experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a fulfilling opportunity?

Aspire People are currently recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants. What we can offer can range from a days cover, a weeks cover, a terms cover to long-term cover for the whole academic year.

As a SEN TA, you will be expected to complete typical TA duties working with SEN students.

You will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across all key stages. Your responsibilities will include :

  • Assisting teachers with planning and delivering lessons.
  • Providing targeted support to small groups or individual students.
  • Managing classroom behaviour, ensuring a positive learning environment.
  • Supervising students during break times and lunch.
  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

What are we looking for?

  • Relevant qualifications and / or substantial experience.
  • You must be available for a minimum of one day a week.
