Payroll Assistant - Callington, Cornwall - Temporary to Permanent

Salary : Up to £27,625 per annum (Hourly Rate Equivalent)

Hours : Full-time (3-4 days payroll, 1-2 days finance projects)

Location : Callington, Cornwall

We're on the lookout for a Payroll Assistant to join a proactive and friendly team within a leading business. You'll be working in a busy and varied role, handling payroll processing while also getting involved in finance-based projects.

What You'll Be Doing :

  • Processing timesheets and payroll data accurately and efficiently.
  • Managing payroll queries, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Collaborating on finance projects, working closely with the Finance Director.
  • Supporting the wider finance team with additional tasks as needed.

What We're Looking For :

  • Payroll experience with an understanding of payroll processes.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Good communication skills - you'll be liaising with internal teams.
  • IT proficiency, particularly with payroll and finance systems.
