Production Manufacturing Team Leader

Are you a Team Leader with a passion for the automotive industry and quality? Or perhaps you are an experienced quality inspector now looking for a step up?

We are currently seeking a Quality Team Leader to join our outstanding quality management team, based on-site at one of the UKs most prestigious Automotive Manufacturers.Reporting to the Shift Manager, the Team Leader, will be responsible for leading and coaching a team of between 5-10 Inspectors, which can increase during peak times.

You will be working on a rotating shift pattern, which rotates weekly, Monday-Friday

06 : 00am

14 : 00pmand 15 : 00pm

23 : 00pm.Weekend overtime is also available when required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to : Leading and coaching a team of quality inspectorsSupporting the Shift Manager with achievements and expectationsSupporting on the set up of new projectsCommunication between the team and Shift ManagerEnsuring accuracy and efficiency at all timesCarrying out inspection dutiesSupporting the Shift Manager with recruitment, inductions, appraisals and training.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience : Proven leadership skills gained within an Automotive, Manufacturing or Engineering environment.Computer literate, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.Excellent communication skillsAbility to resolve issues promptly, within a professional manner.Organised, resilient, with the ability to think outside the box.
