HR Advisor – 6054
Location : Stonehouse
Salary : Up to £40,000 per annum
Hours : Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Responsibilities of an HR Advisor :
- Support all aspects of a comprehensive and trusted generalist HR function.
- Offer advice, guidance, and support on people management to managers and teams, including best practices and commercial solutions.
- Manage HR administration with support from the HR Administrator.
- Draft and update contracts, policies, and HR documents, and prepare guidance notes.
- Conduct reporting, research, and investigations.
- Lead and document meetings, including disciplinary, grievance, inductions, exit interviews, return to work, and maternity / paternity meetings.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date personnel documentation within the business’s systems.
- Oversee payroll processing, supported by the HR Administrator.
- Focus on continuous improvement by implementing changes and new processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate HR records and produce reports as required.
- Perform any other duties relevant to the HR department.
Skills and Experience of an HR Advisor :
Strong generalist HR knowledge.Solid understanding of UK employment law.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Effective organisation and time management.Experience with HRIS systems, analytics, and reporting.Competence in drafting detailed HR policies and guidance notes.Flexibility in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.To be considered for this role, please email your CV to [email protected] or call Katie on 01453 755330.
