Job description

Role : KS2 Teacher

Location : Romsey

Salary : £30,000 - £46,000 per annum

Start Date : September 2024

We are looking for both ECTs and experienced teachers who are looking for a new, inspiring school teaching experience in either Early Years, KS1 or KS2. This could be a fantastic opportunity for you to develop and grow as part of a highly motivated and forward thinking team. The Leadership Team and Governors are looking for teachers who are passionate about changing children’s lives. Requirements :

Bachelor's Degree / Master’s Degree
Teaching Certification (QTS / PGCE)
In-depth knowledge of the primary school curriculum and teaching methodologies
Patience, adaptability, and a genuine love for education
Ability to craft engaging and inclusive lesson plans

Responsibilities :

Develop and deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to diverse learning styles

Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration

Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a conducive learning atmosphere

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents

Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development and well-being

Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices

Create a safe and supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves and take risks

Key Skills :

Classroom management

Effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues

Incorporating technology into the learning process

Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Assessment and evaluation strategies

Ability to teach year 4 students efficiently
