Key Responsibilities
Supervision : Provide vigilant and compassionate care and supervision to individuals in a variety of care settings, ensuring their safety and well-being.Safety and Security : Ensure the safety and security of all individuals through regular checks and proactive risk management.Support and Guidance : Offer emotional support and practical guidance to individuals who may experience distress or difficulties.Documentation : Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.Team Collaboration : Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including social workers, healthcare professionals, therapists, and educators.Training Participation : Engage in regular training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in caring for a variety of complex needs.Why Choose Us?

Experience : Previous experience supporting individuals with one or more of the following : mental health challenges, dementia / elderly care, learning difficulties, complex care needs, or children's residential care.Driver's License : A valid driver's license and access to your own vehicle is required.Registration : Must be registered or willing to register with Social Care Wales.DBS Check : Must have or be willing to obtain an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.Skills and Attributes
Empathy and Understanding : A deep understanding of the complex needs of individuals, whether they are facing mental health challenges, cognitive impairments, or require complex care.Industry Knowledge : Well-versed in safeguarding regulations, risk assessments, de-escalation techniques, and the best practices associated with support work.Communication Skills : Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Calm and Composed : Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, providing reliable care and support.Proactive Approach : A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving and delivering high-quality care.Randstad Care acts as an employment business when supplying temporary staff and as an employment agency when introducing candidates for permanent employment with a client.
