Job description

FUNCTION

To technically support operations by developing, optimising and improving manufacturing processes (CNC Machining, presswork, laminate) to enhance productivity, quality and safety.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evaluate existing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvements and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Monitor and analyse performance metrics, cycle time, rates per hour, yield and scrap and develop strategies to meet or exceed targets
  • Provide technical support to resolve process related issues
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions and preventive measures
  • To assist in New Product Introduction and provide manufacturing and technical expertise
  • To produce CNC programs for a variety of machine tools
  • Collaborate with Team Leaders, manufacturing team members and build relationships with tooling suppliers
  • Participate and implement improvement programs and initiatives using Lean Manufacturing strategies
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in production technologies, methodologies and best practise

    Qualifications and Education Requirements

    Significant experience in a Manufacturing / Process Engineering roleFamiliar with AutoCAD and 3D CAD modellingAdept at working in a manufacturing environmentAbility to read and understand technical drawingsDemonstrate knowledge and experience on CAD / CAM systems (Solidworks / Alphacam / Catia)

    Note : we operate a 4 day working week (37.5hours)

  • Day Shift - Monday to Wednesday - 07 : 00 to 17 : 00 & Thursday 07 : 00 to 16 : 30
  • Earlies - Monday to Wednesday - 06 : 00 to 16 : 00 & Thursday 06 : 00 to 15 : 30
  • Lates - Monday to Wednesday – 13 : 00 to 23 : 00 & Thursday 13 : 00 to 22 : 30
  • Paid shift allowance
