Duty and Assessment Social Worker in Halton area
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families in the community.
As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, carrying out timely assessments, and ensuring effective service delivery.
This is a full time locum role on ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities :
- Respond promptly to referrals and conduct timely assessments in line with statutory requirements.
- Undertake child protection investigations and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with children, families, and multi-agency professionals to develop and implement robust care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records.
- Attend court proceedings and provide written and verbal evidence as required.
- Promote the safety, well-being, and development of children at all times.
Essential Requirements :
A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree / Diploma in Social Work).Current registration with Social Work England.Previous experience in a Duty and Assessment or similar frontline social work role.A thorough knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.The ability to work full-time hours (no condensed hours available).Chance to make a positive impact in the community.Please apply to it or contact Neven on 07936348296!
