Job description

Job summary

To provide general day to day administrative support for various key functions within the Team. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of comprehensive information / data collection and reporting, ensuring it is fit for purpose.

Main duties of the job

Initial clerical stage triage assessment for all new referrals.

The post holder will be required to manage and prioritise their day-to-day workload and use their initiative, without direct supervision, for routine tasks. This will require good organisational skills and the ability to cope with working to tight deadlines and with frequent interruptions.

In addition provide support to other specialist Cardiac teams across the county as required and directed to team leads.

Person Specification

Education and qualifications

Essential

  • GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
  • NVQ3 Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office or similar applications
  • RSA III Typing / Word processing

Skills and aptitude

  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Ability to work using own initiative
  • Knowledge and abilities
