Job Title : Call Center Representative – Financial Transactional Services (State Government Contract)

Location : Blackburn, VIC

Salary : $40 per hour + Superannuation

Contract : 6 Months, Full-Time

About the Role :

We’re seeking a skilled Call Center Representative to join the Financial Transactional Services team within a state government department in Blackburn. This is a 6-month onsite contract in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, where you’ll handle complex financial inquiries with professionalism. If you have experience in call centers and enjoy resolving issues with a solutions-focused approach, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage inbound calls (60+ daily) related to financial and transactional services, delivering clear and empathetic guidance.
  • Address and resolve complex and potentially challenging financial inquiries, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Adhere to government protocols and compliance standards while maintaining data security.
  • Accurately log call details and outcomes within internal systems.

Requirements :

  • Proven experience in a high-volume call center environment, ideally with exposure to financial or transactional service inquiries.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, onsite in Blackburn.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a target-driven environment.
  • Additional Information :

  • Location : This role is strictly onsite; there is no hybrid or work-from-home option.
  • Hours : Monday to Friday, Full time hours, between 8 : 30 am to 5 : 30 pm.
