Pearson Whiffin are delighted to be partnered with an established manufacturing business in East Kent! We are looking for an experienced Buyer to join their team on a full time permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and will have been exposed to a manufacturing and / or engineering environment.

Duties include :

• Purchasing of all materials.
• Requesting quotations from suppliers.
• Negotiating costs for materials and deliveries.
• Analysing suppliers and providing feedback on supplier performance.
• Raising Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisitions.
• Progressing orders.
• Completing customs documentation.
• Dealing with invoice queries.
