We are looking for Teaching Assistants to work at a School for learners with Autism and other complex needs in the York Area
A school we are working closely in York is looking for Teaching Assistants to join a dedicated team of highly skilled teachers and learning support staff. Pupils are supported by an experienced pastoral team comprising of Communication & Interaction Leaders, Pastoral & Family Support Officers, and Behaviour Support Workers. All staff work closely with families and the local community in order to offer pupils the best opportunities possible. Many of our Clients learners have a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Conditions, but this is by no means all learners, and there are a wide range of differing needs in both Primary and Secondary Schools. Class sizes vary between 6 to 12 learners.
