with at least 3 years general mechanical experience sought by a busy, family-run garage in Great Barr, Birmingham. Established for nearly 30 years, the garage has expertise in clutch replacement, servicing, diagnostics, brakes, exhausts & catalytic converters, cam belts and more.

The Role : As a Vehicle Technician, youll be working on vehicles while receiving training in vehicle maintenance within a fast-paced garage environment. Your duties will include : Repairing / replacing broken or defective partsFault findingDiagnosing issues by inspecting vehicle engine and componentsServicing vehiclesOperating specialist equipmentAll other associated tasks

The successful experienced Vehicle Technician should have : Minimum 3 years general mechanical experienceUp to Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or qualified by experienceExperience on clutch and transmission experience would be an advantage but not essentialAbility to commute easily to Great BarrFull driving licenceOwn basic tools are essential

The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in the automotive trade, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be eager to learn.
