1. Associate Medical Director,Greater Manchester Integrated Care Bolton Locality - Open to Bolton Foundation Trust Medical Staff and Bolton GPs

2. Divisional Medical Director, Integrated Community Services. Open to Bolton Foundation Trust Medical Staff and Bolton GPs

  • Strengthening collaboration between Primary Care and Integrated Neighbourhood Teams to improve healthcare access and continuity.
  • Creating an approach to medical and care professional leadership that is integral to system governance, with a focus on innovative, strength-based care approaches that promote well-being.
  • Encouraging consensus-based decision-making for Clinical and Care Practitioner Leadership, fostering open discussion and collaborative solutions.
  • Embracing integrated working methods with the NHS, councils, voluntary sector, and local partners to deliver tailored, high-quality services.

    Job responsibilities

    Working with other clinical and care professional leads to implement the Clinical and Care Professional Leadership Principles in the locality

    Lead the strategic development of services, working with managerial , political and clinical and care professional leaders across the whole ICS, supporting the delivery of quadruple aim whilst keeping quality and safety at the heart of everything we do

    Provide system leadership for the clinical and professional workforce in the locality, including the development of locality clinical and professional forums

    Line management of the employed GP clinical lead workforce

    Engage, build and develop wider clinical networks with Primary Care Networks, and across the health and social care system

    Represent the locality in Greater Manchester

    Regardless of the post holders primary employment or professional grouping the Clinical system lead will act as a system leader, not on behalf their employer or professional group

    Lead improvement in outcomes for our population health and wellbeing through a lens of prevention and inequality

    Promote clinical leadership that is reflective of our population and support in the identification and recruitment of a pipeline of future clinical and care professional leaders

    Essential

  • Qualified Doctor working within the place
  • GMC registered
  • Knowledge & Experience

    Essential

  • Experience in Be working in a Clinical Role within the Place
  • Leadership Experience
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of NHS Health and Care services at a National, Regional and local level.
  • Experience of working at a Senior level within the NHS and considerable senior experience of leading in integrated health and care settings.
