Maintenance Engineer

A UK-based, global manufacturer and provider of Products, Software, and Automation Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their team.They are experiencing a significant period of investment, with a newly built state-of-the-art facility to support their expansion efforts, this is a prime opportunity to join a growing business that offers long-term job security.As a Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include -Providing electrical / mechanical maintenance for all site primary plant and building assetsAdhering to PPM / TPM schedules and responsive reaction to breakdownsSeeking out and implementing improvements to reduce the level of breakdowns using lean improvement methodologiesInstallation and commissioning of new assembly equipment into productionLiaising with equipment suppliers, service support and contractors to remedy problems and order sparesOpening / locking up the siteStepping in for the Maintenance Manager as needed; ordering, quotations, permits, dealing with suppliers To be successful in the role of Maintenance Engineer, the ideal candidate will - Be a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with recognised qualification / sBe able to read / interpret electrical drawingsHave experience with 3-phase and Single phase electricsIdeally be capable of interrogating to trace back faults on PLC's (Siemens)Be a good communicator, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team On offer -A basic salary of up to £46KAnnual bonus paid in February (usually 3-4% of annual salary)Shifts rotate weekly : Week 1 : Monday - Thursday 6am - 2 : 30pm / Friday 6am - 1 : 30pmWeek 2 : Monday 11 : 30am - 7pm / Tuesday - Friday 10 : 30am - 7pm
