We are a large traditional establishment with cosy bar areas, pub restaurant dining, a private function suite and a large beer garden overlooking our 5 acre fishing lakeAs a family run business, we take great pride in providing excellent quality food alongside a friendly personalised service.We are now looking for a genuinely hardworking, loyal and friendly character with a passion for hospitality to join our team.If this is you... please get in touch!Core responsibilitiesYou will take overall responsibility for stocking and maintaining the cellarBe able to lead for the manager in their absenceAssist with Social Media to ensure exposure and recognitionUndertake administrative tasks efficiently and effectivelyOverseeing and liaising with the kitchenKeeping up to date with licensing legislationEnforcing and maintaining health and safety rulesReporting to owners when necessaryManagement of staffAssist in : Staff recruitment and trainingOngoing staff development and trainingMaintaining staff moraleMaintaining a fun but professional environmentPreparing and monitoring staff rotas to meet business needs, providing adequate cover at all timesOperational responsibilitiesYou will be in charge of ordering for the bar and ensuring that all invoices are checked against delivery notes and any anomalies resolved before releasing to the managerYou'll adhere to stock-control procedures and ensure that all staff do likewiseEnsure that the agreed opening and closing procedures are completed to company standardsEnsure all health and safety procedures are monitored and adhered to at all timesPersonal specificationHardworkingFriendly character & a good team playerRespectful Team LeaderGood Time KeeperHonest & ReliableTrustworthy & LoyalGenuine Passion for looking after customers and exceeding expectationsGood Knowledge of Food, Wine, Beer & SpiritsExcellent personal hygiene standardsMUST hold a Personal LicenseThe successful candidate will have to have a hands on attitude and approach to the role, leading from the front and not the office!You must possess strong organisational and communication skills, combined with energy and determination to achieve high standards of service, keeping a key eye on detail!We are a family led, friendly team and are looking forward to a likeminded individual joining us.Please do not hesitate to contact us should you wish to apply for this role or have any further questions.We look forward to hearing from you,The Coopers
