Bradcare - Full time Complex Care Support Worker

Bradcare is seeking a dedicated full time Complex Care support worker

Female, Rural Driver)   to provide high-quality care and support for individuals with complex health conditions. This role requires a compassionate and experienced professional with expertise in

learning disabilities (LD), dementia, mental health conditions, sensory impairments, chronic illnesses, and physical disabilities.

The ideal candidate must be willing to work flexible shifts, including early mornings (5 : 30 AM - 9 : 00 AM), late nights (6 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM), weekends, bank holidays, and on-call duties once a week. A valid driver’s license with business insurance is

mandatory   for this role. As a care service provider we want our field heroes to be available for 24 / 7.

Unqualified Carers

Weekday : £12.65 per hour

Weekend : £13.00 per hour

Qualified Carers (Level 2+ in Health & Social Care)

Weekday : £13.10 per hour

Weekend : £14.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide

person-centered care , prioritizing the individual needs of clients.

  • Administer
  • medication   and support with

    complex oral care.

  • Deliver
  • stoma care and catheter care   to clients with specialist needs.

  • Support clients with daily activities, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Accompany clients to
  • GP appointments, physiotherapy clinics, hospital visits, community care activities, day centers, social functions, and short holidays.

  • Monitor and report
  • incidents and concerns , ensuring compliance with safeguarding procedures.

  • Maintain accurate
  • care records   and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders.

  • Adhere to
  • CQC (Care Quality Commission) and DHSC (Department of Health and Social Care) regulations   and guidelines.

  • Promote
  • independence and dignity   in all aspects of care.

    Desirable Skills :

  • Experience supporting clients with
  • social integration and community engagement.

  • Ability to
  • work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is advantageous.
  • Requirements

    Essential Requirements :

    Minimum of 2 years of experience   in a healthcare support role.

    Experience in complex care   for individuals with learning disabilities, dementia, mental health conditions, sensory impairments, chronic illnesses, or physical disabilities.

    full, valid driving license   with

    business insurance.

    Live within 5 miles of DE11 0EG.

  • Willingness to work
  • out-of-hours shifts   including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

  • Knowledge of
  • CQC and DHSC guidelines, regulations, and standards.

  • Strong skills in
  • incident reporting and risk management.
