ALN Full Time Teaching Assistant Needed in Abergavenny!

An Outstanding Primary School based in the Abergavenny area is looking for an inspiring Teaching Assistant to join their school full time, working with a child on a one-to-one basis who has ALN. The school is looking for the right candidate who has the passion, drive, and experience in this field.

Are you passionate about being a Teaching Assistant? Do you enjoy supporting and developing children?

The successful Teaching Assistant will have the following :

  • Level 2 or 3 qualified and / or a minimum of 6 months’ experience in an educational establishment
  • A calm, patient, and caring personality
  • Good communication skills
  • A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
  • Experience in supporting students in their education on a 1 : 1 and small group basis

    • Successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure and provide at least 2 references.
