Qualified Speech and Language Therapist to work at a SEN School in Thanet
Temp to perm role starting immediately on a full time basis, pay at KR9.
Key Responsibilities
- Early Identification : Support the identification of speech, language, and communication needs at an early stage.
- Individualised Support : Develop tailored strategies to address individual children's speech, language, and communication needs.
- Intervention and Evaluation : Deliver targeted interventions and assess their outcomes to ensure effectiveness.
- Collaborative Practices : Work alongside class teachers to align interventions with classroom teaching.
- Family Engagement : Collaborate with families, offering advice and strategies to support children's progress at home.
- Staff Support : Train and guide teaching assistants to deliver effective speech, language, and communication interventions.
- Record Maintenance : Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in line with professional standards.
- Professional Collaboration : Build partnerships with other professionals to enhance multidisciplinary approaches.
- Caseload Prioritisation : Work with school SENCos to prioritise and manage your caseload effectively.
