Temporary Purchase Ledger Assistant – Ipswich (5-Month Contract)Start : ASAP | Duration : 5 months | Office-based  Pure are currently seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to join a dynamic and growing business based in Ipswich, on a temporary 5-month contract.  As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the purchase ledger, supporting accurate and timely invoice processing, supplier payments, and account management. You’ll report directly to the Financial Controller and play a key role in the smooth running of our finance operations. Key Responsibilities : Process and code purchase invoices accurately into the finance systemResolve internal invoice and purchase order queriesManage and reconcile supplier accounts and statementsBuild and maintain strong supplier relationshipsPrepare and process weekly / monthly payment runsEnsure payments are made in line with supplier termsSupport the production of monthly aged payables reportsAssist with month-end processes and financial reporting What We’re Looking For : Proven experience in a finance role with a focus on purchase ledgerStrong systems knowledge, including MS OfficeExcellent attention to detail and organisation skillsClear communication and a collaborative approachA proactive attitude and openness to process improvements and new systems Apply today to join a thriving te...
