You’ll be joining a well-established organisation renowned for its innovative approach, supporting businesses and fostering creativity for nearly a decade.Duties & ResponsibilitiesAs an Accounts Assistant, your responsibilities will include : Processing purchase invoices, preparing weekly payment runs, and managing expense claims.Handling credit control and resolving finance queries from clients and team members.Conducting daily and monthly reconciliations for bank accounts and balance sheets.Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts and assisting with month-end processes.Contributing to the improvement of financial systems and processes while completing ad-hoc tasks as needed.What Experience is RequiredTo excel in this role, you’ll need : Experience working with accounting systems (knowledge of Xero is advantageous).Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office programs.A solid understanding of bookkeeping and accountancy practices, with AR / AP experience being a plus.Salary & BenefitsSalary : £25,000 per annum.Benefits : 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, private health insurance, a pension scheme, employee assistance program, enhanced family leave, and access to regular wellbeing activities.LocationThis position is based in Spitalfields, London.
