We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Laboratory Manager to oversee daily operations of our new testing department.
The Laboratory Manager will be responsible for co-ordinating and conducting tests on a wide range of materials to ensure they meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and accuracy.
Key responsibilities :
- Manage day-to-day laboratory operations, including scheduling, personnel, equipment maintenance and Quality of work
- Well organised
- Develop and implement testing procedures for a variety of materials
- Supervise lab technicians and ensure all work is conducted safely and efficiently.
- Interpret test results and prepare detailed technical reports for internal teams and external clients.
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations, company quality standards, and health & safety procedures.
- Calibrate and validate lab equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
- Collaborate with R&D, engineering, or quality control teams to support product development or quality assurance projects.
- Continuously improve lab processes to enhance testing efficiency and data integrity.
- Manage documentation, records, and certifications related to testing procedures and results
