Surveyor / Project Manager

Structural Glass Design manufactures and installs walk on and drive on glass floors and roof lights. We are looking for a motivated and pro-active individual to join our small, busy team.

Duties include :

• Surveying glass floor / rooflight projects around the UK. This will involve some nights from home as the majority of our projects are based in and around London & the South.
• Inputting of survey information onto our online database system.
• Preparation of CAD drawings.
• Calculating glass sizes.
• Answering queries from customers via phone and email.
• Liaising with clients to resolve any queries and finalise designs throughout the project life. Most of our projects have a short life span.
• Preparing RAMS & lifting plans.
• Liaising with installers and the manufacturing team when necessary.

Training in our product designs will be given.

Requirements

Previous experience in surveying or project management is required. It is important to us that you can communicate in an approachable and efficient manner with our customers by email, phone and face to face so this role would suit a friendly and organised individual. Experience working in the construction industry is required.

It is essential that you have good IT skills and a driving licence.
