Job Purpose

The Project Manufacturing Manager (PMM) is in a key project leadership position responsible to deliver a complete subsystem or product, according to project requirements, on time and on budget, to the Subsea Projects organization.

Job Description

  • Accountable for all work to fulfill the contractual obligations between Subsea Projects and REMS Manufacturing, within project budget and schedule, related to the delivery of a specific sub-system / product (including all products / components constituting the complete sub-system; project reporting and documentation…), from project start-up to close out;
  • Ensure the REMS project is fully mobilized after receiving the formal instruction from the Tendering Team : key project team members assigned; commercial and technical handover completed; Purchased Order received from Subsea Project; project created and demand loaded in ERP; Engineering, Procurement and Manufacturing schedule baselines released;
  • Upon tender handover, ensure the float of the project schedule is maintained to protect the committed delivery dates;
  • Review and approve contractual documents, as needed, between REMS and Subsea Projects (e.g. Sales Order, Variation Orders...);
  • Work transversally within REMS and lead regular sub-system / product meetings with key project contributors (Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing...) to drive the upcoming work according to the plan and ensure everyone is working towards the same priorities
  • Proactively provide accurate reporting to Subsea Projects, through standard project progress reports, project schedules, etc. (actuals, forecast, risks and mitigations, opportunities…); At times, the PMM might have to prepare special reports for the projects, based on specific needs;

You are meant for this job if :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent diploma. ▪ Desirable : PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent business experience.
  • 10 years of experience as project coordination related area and / or six years experience in a Project Supervisor role
  • Project Management techniques and standards.
