This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week.

Day to day duties of the role

• Teaching practical and theory sessions in Carpentry and related Construction areas, teaching across a range of topics, as agreed with the Heads of Area.
• Tutoring and pastoral support for students, showing sensitivity to their needs and encouraging the highest possible standards.
• Meeting targets, with reference to student progress on programmes, for their attendance and retention to maximise their learning opportunity.
• Providing advice and guidance to new and existing students in their journey to either employment or other courses within the Construction at the College.
