Job Overview
The Program Management Lead will report directly to the Value Enablement Office Leader for Risk Capital. They will oversee and manage portfolio execution, ensuring the delivery of tangible business value including revenue growth, process optimization, realizable productivity and to ensure that our clients and colleagues achieve the maximum value from ABS capabilities and investments. This role collaborates with Solution Lines, and other global ABS capabilities including operations and product / platform / service teams, to prioritize and oversee value delivery for their remit.
Core Responsibilities :
- Work closely with senior leadership to understand the strategy and align the ABS workstream initiatives accordingly. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the initiatives / sub-initiatives identified for execution drive value and in line with the strategy.
- Ensure that these standards are uniformly adopted and practiced across the entire organization
- Develop strong relationships with key customers and partners
- Evaluate the road map for all major customers' long-term visions and help develop service offerings that appropriately match their business needs
- Direct and manage program development from beginning to end
- Effectively conduct resource planning for the workstream
- Define program / workstream scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve workstream goals
- Set and continually manage workstream expectations with team members and other stakeholders
- Analyze, recommend, and drive process and program improvements across functional teams
- Guide & support change management efforts within the workstream
- Gravitas to mobilize and operate Governance committees with executive stakeholders (c-suite) and maintain rigor around program operations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Deep experience in conducting integrated scoping and planning across multiple workstreams, regions and business units.Experience rolling out Business Capabilities, bringing new capabilities to market, and launching new services.Experience with change management.Experience managing change aspects of Training, Communication, and SOP rollouts.Preferably, deep understanding of commercial risk / broking environment.Prior experience of implementation of policy management & claims systems (preferably in a broking environment).Extensive understanding of Project and Program Management methodologies and structures and can demonstrate a pragmatic application of these appropriate to a given audience and / or situation.Experience of managing large complex teams made up of dedicated project and BA capability as a well as elements of SME resources in country.Comfortable with negotiating with all parts of an organisation in order to secure resource and / or budget, meet deadlines, attain approvals, embed process and manage conflicts.Delivery focussed.Excellent time management skills.Experience in overseeing vendors and internal development teams’ deliveryFlexible to work across multiple time zones, as needed to collaborate across stakeholders and team administration.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to include public speaking, group presentationAbility to interact professionally with a diverse group to include executives, managers and subject matter experts.Creative problem-solving skills with forethought of organizational goals and needsAbility to effectively manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesFlexibility and responsiveness to changing business needs and demandsProficient in use of MS Office, specifically Project, Excel and PowerPointRecognized and accredited professional project management training and certification (such as PMP, PfMP, PMI-ACP or equivalent) preferred but not required.Other Requirements :
