The Role
Following a review of our Procurement function with significant investment as part of a wider transformation programme, we’re looking for a Category Manager with excellent influencing, stakeholder management and negotiation skills to own the Building Services category.
Taking ownership of c.£19m annual spend covering a whole range of building services (including Waste, Cleaning Services, Security Services, Maintenance, Electrical Services) across our UK Dealership network, you’ll be keen to make an impact on this newly created category, delivering cost savings and introducing formal contract management and supplier relationship strategies, whilst playing a key role in contributing towards corporate and social responsibilities.
Responsible for creating and implementing a category strategy, you’ll be able to identify efficiencies and implement a high performing supply chain, whilst building collaborative and influenceable relationships both internally and externally. You’ll balance this strategic approach with the day to day tactical management of the category, often working with complex supply chains and requests from colleagues and co-workers.#
