Early Careers Teacher (ECT) - Primary Teaching Role in Lincoln

Location : Lincoln

Salary : £31,607 - £34,607 per annum

Contract : Full-time, Monday to Friday

Start Date : September 2025

Are you a passionate and dedicated Early Careers Teacher (ECT) looking for an exciting opportunity to begin your teaching career? Simply Education is working with a lovely primary school in Lincoln that is eager to welcome a motivated primary ECT to join their supportive team. This is a fantastic chance for an enthusiastic newly qualified teacher to gain invaluable experience in a full-time primary teaching role, with full planning, teaching, and marking responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Delivering high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum to engage and inspire primary learners.
  • Planning and marking lessons, ensuring all pupils make progress in their learning.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
  • Developing strong relationships with students, staff, and parents to support pupil development.
  • Attending staff meetings, training sessions, and contributing to the wider school community.

Candidate Requirements :

  • A PGCE with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent qualification.
  • Passion for teaching primary education and making a real difference in children's learning.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and primary teaching strategies.
  • Ability to plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons for KS1 and KS2 pupils.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
