We are seeking to appoint a Facilities Manager to ensure that the School's premises are well managed and maintained, providing excellent facilities for school, community and commercial use with a safe and secure environment for all.
This is a part time role starting ASAP and you will be expected to work 2 - 3 days per week, 7.5 hours per day.

Responsibilities for this position :
To undertake general repairs and maintenance throughout the whole school site including plumbing, carpentry / joinery, plastering, decorating, repairs on furnishings and buildings, including woodwork to ensure a safe environment, with support from external contractors as necessaryTo manage, maintain and adjust daily, weekly, monthly and annual Health and Safety inspection schedulesAble in dealing with deliveries and contractors and locking up the schoolResponsibility for the management of the Health and Safety records to ensure that documents are securely stored, shared as required and accessible on requestRepairs and Maintenance budget holder with management of any facilities related accounts, payment cards, ordering processes and any associated recordsManagement of attendance of the start and end of day traffic dutiesTo contribute to the Critical Incident plan on all Facilities and Health and Safety related mattersTo maintain and manage relationships with external contractorsWe are looking for someone with the below skills
Experience working as a Facilities Manager in the School (preferable)Excellent communication and organisational skillsAbility to use own initiative and work as part of a teamAble to work in a highly pressured environment to meet demands and deadlinesAn eye for detail and committed to accuracyRelevant professional experience along with 2 recent professional referencesEligibility to work in the UK is essentialEnhanced DBS on update service or willingness to complete a new DBSExcellent team working ethic with the ability to use initiative and work on own when requiredWell, look no further, APPLY Now!
