Job description

NDT Technician required for a Global Engineering and Manufacturing leader, with over 20 worldwide locations employing 1000 + staff. This employer is recognised globally for quality and innovative deliverables.

The successful NDT Technician will be easily able to commute to

HUDDERSFIELD

from surrounding towns & cities, including Leeds, Dewsbury, Halifax, Wakefield and Brighouse.

Key Responsibilities of the NDT Technician will include : Conduct various inspections, including Visual Inspection (VI), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and Nital Etch inspection (NE) of forgings, machine components, and weldments.Analyse inspection results, identify potential flaws, interpret standards, and document findings according to established procedures.Raise non-conformance reports in line with the non-conformance management procedure.Assist in resolving shop floor issues related to machining, welding, heat treatment, or metallurgical causes.For the NDT Technician role, we are keen to receive CVs from candidates who possess : PCN Level 2 Minimum in Visual, MPI, DPI and UT ForgingsExperienced in preparing detailed reports outlining inspections findings, Defects and Interpreting specifications and standardsManual Handling and training experienceISO9001 : 2015 Internal Auditor TrainedSalary & Benefits on offer for the successful NDT Technician : Up to £36,000 depending on experience - Including Shift Allowance37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday - Rotating Shifts25 Days annual leave + Bank holidaysCompany pension contributions of up to 8%
