Business Studies Teacher

Location : South Shields

Pay Scale : £120 to £180 per day

Start : ASAP

Contract : Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL education is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Business Studies Teacher to join a lively team working in the school community in South Shields

Job summary :   As our Business Studies Teacher, you will lead the students in engaging the world of business, economics, and entrepreneurship. You will design and present user-friendly lessons that bring real business concepts alive for the students, thereby helping them understand the relevance of their studies to their future careers and everyday lives.

Key responsibilities :

  • Plan and deliver lessons in Business Studies for students.
  • Provide a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Inspire students to think critically, solve problems, and develop a passion for learning about business.
  • Assess and monitor student progress with constructive feedback and support.
  • Stay current with business trends and incorporate real-world examples into your teaching.

Requirements :

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Business Studies, Economics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience teaching Business Studies in an educational setting is preferred.
  • Strong classroom management abilities.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
