Job Description
Service Care Legal are currently working alongside employee focused Local Authority, based in Devon , which is in need of an experienced Adult Social Care Lawyer to join their team.
ROLE : Senior Adult Social Care Lawyer (must be a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister)
RATE : £50-£55ph
LOCATION : Devon, REMOTE
CONTRACT LENGTH : 3 months ongoing
The duties involved in the Senior Adult Social Care Lawyer role
- Deal with an Adult Social Care legal files from start to completion
- The role will deal primarily with Deprivation of Liberty Safeguard challenges and s16 applications in the Court of Protection as well as more general Mental Capacity Act advice.
- The successful candidate will also be required to assist in other areas of Adult Social Care including Ordinary Residence disputes, Care Act duties and Mental Health Act matters.
- The successful candidate will also oversee the whole process of each case from pre-proceedings through to completion of the final hearing.
