Job description

Robert Half have been exclusively engaged to recruit and Interim Financial / Reporting Accountant for a well known US Listed business with a division based in Porchester.

Duties

  • Support the preparation of 2023 Statutory accounts
  • Liaise with auditors and preparation of audit fieldwork and schedules
  • Improve financial reporting process
  • Review and improve internal controls and SOX compliance, support internal audit in Q3 2024.
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliation and meet internal balance sheet reconciliation reporting requirements
  • Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Work with external accountant on corporation tax return filing
  • Support the R&D Tax claim process
  • Review intercompany allocations process to ensure accurate and timely booking and provide great visibility of charge
  • Implement journal improvement process

Skill set required

ACA, ACCA, OR CIMA Qualified

2-3 years post qualification experience minimum

Sage Experience- Nice to have

Whats on offer

6 month contract

Daily rate : £250-400
