Full time permanent : (37.5hrs pw) – including an average of two alternate weekends

We’re looking for a Paediatric / Adult Healthcare Assistant to join our Outpatient team at The Portland Hospital, currently rated “Good” by the CQC.
The Portland Hospital is the only independent hospital in the UK entirely dedicated to women and children. Our inpatient and outpatient specialties reflect this, providing clinical expertise in Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Women`s Health.
As a Healthcare Assistant Practitioner, you will be involved with working with Nurses, Consultants and other Healthcare professionals. Ideally the successfully candidate will hold previous paediatric or Adult experience.
This is a unique opportunity to join an excellent department delivering care variety of patients, at The Portland Hospital.
You will also be expected to carry out a range of key administrative tasks, stock control, rotation of stock and liaising with the stock materials team, chaperoning of patients. The successful candidate will work alongside the plastics nurses and CNS for plastics, and given an opportunity to be involved in wound management / dressings of wounds / following up patients etc.
