Overview of role :
The purpose of this role is to provide support for students with Additional Educational Needs (AEN) and where appropriate contribute to the daytoday running of the Academy. You will be supporting children under the age of 5.
Key details :
- Hours : 37 hours per week Monday to Friday (Shifts to be confirmed at interview)
- Termtime Only 39 weeks)
- Wage : 6.40 per hour. This will increase to 7.55 in April 2025.

Qualification : Level 3 Early YearsDuration of course : 19 monthsTraining Provider : LMP Education (Rated No 1 Training Provider in the UK)All learning delivered online / remotely alongside placement at school.Full Duties and Responsibilities :
Support pupils learning in the Nursery including working with individuals groups and whole classes using knowledge experience specialist skills and trainingUse specialist knowledge / experience to provide appropriate support to pupils in relation to their individual needsContribute to the creation of an appropriate learning environment through display and classroom organisationContribute to the creation of appropriate learning resourcesAssist EYFS Lead / Teachers in the following : Support to PupilsSupport pupils learning in the nursery including working with individuals groups whole classes using knowledge experience specialist skills and training.Provide pastoral support to pupils within the school environmentAssist children with personal care. E.g Changing nappies toilet training etcAssist children in matters of personal needs and their general health including first aid and welfare mattersProvide structured support in accordance with specific work programmes designed and supervised by individual teachers / EYFS LeadersTo contribute to raising standards by ensuring high expectations are promoted for pupilsInvolvement in the implementation of individual / education / behaviour / support / mentoring plansProvide general support to pupils ensuring their safety by complying with good H&S practiceAccompany teaching staff and pupils on visits trips and outofschool activities as requiredEncourage pupils to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher. Support to Teacher / EYFS LeadProvide structured support in accordance with specific work programmes designed and supervised by individual teachersSupport the teacher in the development and implementation of individual education / behaviour plansSkills & Personal Qualities :
