First Contact Worker (OWL) (E4470) - GIPSIL

The OWL service empowers young people to make decisions about their support. Our person-centred approach enables young people to identify their existing strengths and skills so they can achieve their goals and aspirations. We support young people in Leeds aged 16 to 25 who can be single, couples or families, many have care experience and this includes asylum seeking children.

The First Contact Team is instrumental in delivering a professional, welcoming and efficient response to young people, professionals and the local community. Though a largely administrative team, the duties and responsibilities include working directly with young people who are amongst the most vulnerable across the city.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible person who has a desire to support young people through taking referrals, signposting to services and supporting service delivery teams. The role would suit someone wishing to gain experience and further their development within young people’s services.

12 month fixed term.
