Overview :

Together for Colwyn Bay Ltd is seeking a dedicated individual to serve as a Voluntary Finance Director. This position plays a vital role in overseeing the financial aspects of our organisation, ensuring responsible management of funds and supporting our mission to serve the community of Colwyn Bay.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Financial Oversight :

Manage the organisation's finances, including budgeting, tracking expenses, and ensuring financial stability in conjunction with the Director of Operations and Staff Team.

  • Prepare financial reports for the Board of Directors, providing insight into the organisation's financial health.
  • Monitor cash flow and financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Compliance and Reporting :
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.

  • Maintain accurate financial records and oversee audits as necessary.
  • Prepare and submit financial reports to relevant stakeholders, such as donors and grantors.
  • Qualifications :

  • Experience in financial management or accounting.
  • Knowledge of financial principles and practices.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
