FLT Driver - Days / Backs

Our client is a long established manufacturing company. Innovative and dynamic, they are constantly pursuing new ways to improve the services and products they offer. An opportunity has arisen for a Forklift Driver to join their team on a temp to perm basis.

This is the ideal role for a Forklift Driver looking to develop their career with an award-winning company.

As a Forklift Driver you will be expected to move ingredients, make sure all products are packed correctly and all health and safety regulations are adhered to.

Your duties will include :

  • Mixing and weighing ingredients
  • FLT Driving
  • Packing and Stacking
  • Working in the baggage plant
  • Working on the Mill and processing equipment
  • Working to your own initiative
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Operating computer programmed machinery

To be considered for the role of Fork Lift Truck Driver, you must have / be :

  • Flexible  to work around shifts (07 : 00am-17 : 00, 13 : 00-23 : 00, 1 in 4 weekends. Occasionally extra weekends subject to business needs.)
  • Proven reliability in a working environment
  • The Willingness to learn new processes
  • Physically capable of manual handling up to 25kg
  • Able to climb ladders and work at a height
  • Hold an in date Counterbalance license

    • Mill Operative experience preferred but not required.

    Immediate starts and overtime available.
