Job Title Intermediate Quantity Surveyor Location Stockport Type Permanent Salary £40,000 / yr My client is a Specialist Sub Contractor offering custom joinery solutions for residential and commercial projects with a growth spurt over the last 18 months which is starting to consolidate and build further with key clients. Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities : Assist and report on and control all commercial and financial aspects of projects and contracts. The individual will need to support the FM low value high volume schemes as well as the larger small works projects co-ordinating procurement and cost recovery with the operations teams. Regular site visits and liaison with operations teams to ensure all changes and progress are captured and claimed each month. Providing commercial expertise for projects to maximise returns by working within robust procedures to support the Project QS. Produce and process formal documents, certifying the interim / final payments and final subcontract account. Monitor income and expenditure on contracts e.g., interim / final applications for payment / final accounts / payments for late monies etc. liaising where necessary with the relevant people. Required Skills & Experience List the Skills, Experience & qualifications required (Examples below) Minimum 3 years post qualified experience. Proven background as an Intermediate QS with Sub - Contractor project experience. Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar. Commercial Fit Out project experience. Exceptional relationship building skills self-motivated and proactive commercial awareness and understanding of the construction process.
