North London (Home-Based, UK)

Permanent

40,000 to £50,000 per annum + £7,584 car allowance and benefits

Shirley Parsons is partnered with a global leader in supply chain transparency, carbon reduction, and ESG management in their search for an Auditor. In this role, you will help their Buyer customers and Communities mitigate supply-chain risk through the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective on-site audits. You'll work within the supply chains of their core sectors to conduct audits according to industry-specific protocols. This includes covering quality, health and safety, environmental, and CSR / Sustainability management systems. The HSEQ Auditor will be responsible for :

  • Conducting thorough on-site audits across various sectors, including construction, utilities, and financial services, ensuring compliance with HSEQ, HR, IT, and business continuity standards.
  • Validating supplier compliance with buyer requirements, such as CDM regulations and the Building Safety Act, through detailed assessments and field visits.
  • Preparing comprehensive audit reports that meet industry-specific standards and provide actionable insights for clients.
  • Collaborating with a dedicated audit scheduling team to efficiently plan and execute audits, primarily within the UK, with opportunities for international assignments.
  • Acting as a key representative, providing expert advice and fostering strong relationships with suppliers and clients.

The HSEQ Auditor will have :

  • A background in HSEQ advisory roles, preferably within construction, utilities, or manufacturing sectors, with a solid understanding of relevant industry regulations.
  • Essential qualifications include a NEBOSH General Certificate and a Lead Auditor certification (or a willingness to obtain one with support).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with professionals at all levels, from front-line staff to senior management.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with a commitment to continuous professional development (CPD) and a passion for driving improvement in supply chain practices.
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility for regular travel within the UK, with occasional international opportunities.
