Salary : £46,399 - £49,588 (+ £6,000 retention)

Location : Victoria Gate, Chobham Road, Woking, Surrey, GU21 6JD

Contract : Permanent, Full-Time

Hours : 36 Hours Per Week, 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday

Surrey County Council's MAP team, based in the brand-new Victoria Gate office in Woking, is looking for an Advanced Social Worker to join their team.

This is a non-case holding role with regular hours - perfect if you're seeking leadership responsibilities without the pressure of managing a full caseload. Whether you're a working parent, carer, or simply looking for more balance in your day, this could be the ideal next move.

What you'll be doing :

Support the coordination of multi-agency safeguarding assessments alongside police, health, education, and other professionals

Offer expert guidance and leadership across the team

Help shape service delivery and improve safeguarding responses

Play a key role in partnership collaboration and service improvement initiatives

What we're looking for :

n \n

Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England (SWE) registration

Strong safeguarding experience and confidence working in a fast-paced environment

Excellent decision-making, communication, and assessment skills

An interest in team leadership or developing into a future manager

A commitment to improving outcomes for children and families
