EdEx are working with 4 'Good' and 'Outstanding' schools across the Borough of Newham who are looking for Unqualified Teachers - Science, Maths, and English for full time, permanent contracts commencing in September 2024.

The Unqualified Teachers - Science, Maths, English position is the perfect opportunity for a graduate looking to kickstart their teaching career and have their teacher training funded by the school they work with.

There are many routes into being a qualified teacher from this role, including the 12 week assessment only route, a schools direct initial teacher training programme, and a PCGE.

What will the role of an Unqualified Teachers - Science, Maths, English entail?

• Have your own classes that you are responsible for with the support of a subject specialist mentor who would work with you intensively
• Provided schemes of work
• Working alongside the School covering all lessons
• Providing high quality cover lessons - KS3-4 basis
• Having a subject specialism where your personal strengths lie
• Raising attainment & the quality of learning
• Inspiring & motivating young minds
• Managing behavior effectively
• September Start - Full Time - Term Time Only
• UQT1 - UQT6 - 24,000 - 36,500 per annum

A degree at 1st class or 2 : 1 in Science, Maths, or English from a reputable university
