About the Role :
As a Skilled CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of CNC machines, ensuring high standards of quality, and maintaining targeted output levels while adhering to strict safety procedures and product traceability. You will be a key member of the team, contributing to process improvements and maintaining a clean and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Setting up tools and loading materials onto CNC machines.
- Machining components to precise specifications.
- Measuring components using inspection equipment to ensure adherence to drawings and tolerances.
- Reading, interpreting, and working from engineering drawings.
- Contributing to a team-oriented work environment.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
- Manually handling weights up to 25kg.
- Completing quality documentation.
- Using computer equipment for data purposes.
- Working to lean principles and practicing 5S.

You are a highly skilled and motivated CNC Machinist with a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality. You are comfortable working independently and as part of a team, and you possess excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
Essential Skills & Experience :
Time-served engineer (or equivalent qualification).Experience working with stainless steels and machine programming using Fanuc / Okuma / Mazak CNC controls.Proficiency in setting up, operating, and adjusting tool and fixture offsets on CNC machine tools.Ability to use a variety of measuring equipment.Ability to read engineering drawings and engineering quality plans.Methodical approach to systems and understanding of established work procedures.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Strong verbal communication and listening skills.Desirable Skills & Experience :
Experience working to tight tolerances.Prior knowledge and experience machining stainless steels (billet, castings, pressings).Experience with conventional milling machines.Personal Attributes :
