About The Role
Due to continued success and growth, we are currently looking for a Process Engineer to assist within our Tube Foundry. As a Process Engineer, you will be primarily focused on the optimisation and management of our Tube Foundry processes. You will be responsible for ensuring that operations are safe, efficient, and cost-effective.
Responsibilities Will Include But Not Limited To
- Safety : Develop and implement safety protocols to protect workers, the environment, and the public.
- Process optimisation : Analyse and improve processes to reduce costs and improve quality.
- Process Improvements : Evaluate existing processes and lead process improvement projects to develop best practices within production.
- Equipment management : Test, maintain, and oversee the commissioning of equipment.
- Collaboration : Work closely with the Technical team and track progress of R&D trials.
- Compliance : Ensure the factory complies with local and national regulations.
- Training : Train operators and other engineers.
- Troubleshooting : Identify and resolve inefficiencies or quality issues.
You will need to possess critical and logical thinking skills and problem-solving skills as well as :
You ideally will be educated to degree level or have a strong background within a Foundry environment.
Understanding of materials science and engineering.
Being able to apply statistical methods in data analysis.
Good communication skills – both written and verbal.
A strong understanding of health & safety, and quality standards.
