We are seeking a dedicated Housing Support Worker to join our team, providing essential housing advice and guidance across a patch of dispersed properties in Oldham and Rochdale. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about making a difference in the lives of those in supported housing.

Key Responsibilities :

• Offer expert housing advice and support to residents in supported housing.
• Assist residents with housing benefit applications and ensure they understand the process.
• Provide signposting to essential services that can further assist with their housing needs.
• Update records diligently to maintain accurate and current resident information.
• Oversee and maintain rent payments, ensuring timely and correct payment schedules.
• Promote tenancy sustainment by helping residents understand their rights and responsibilities.

Requirements :

• Experience in housing support or a related field.
• Strong understanding of housing legislation and benefits.
• Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
• Proficient in record-keeping and data management.
