  • Full GMC registration with a Licence to practice
  • FRCS (Orth) or equivalent
  • ATLS

    • Desirable

    • Higher degree

      • Clinical Experience & Knowledge

    • Special interest in hip surgery
    • Previous Hip fellowship

      • Clinical Skills & Ability

      Essential

    • Near completion of SAC training (or equivalent) covering all aspects of general orthopaedics

      • Research & Teaching

      Essential

    • Training in research methods and proven ability
    • Experience in research and audit with appropriate publications within past 5 years
    • Committed to CME

      • Desirable

    • Training of undergraduate and post-graduates
