Location : Ofsted-rated “Good” Primary School, DN5 area, Doncaster

Contract : Full-time, September 2024 – July 2025

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 / 4 Teacher to cover maternity leave from September 2024 until July 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced teacher to join our supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils in Year 3 / 4.
  • Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and setting targets.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding students’ progress and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and achievements.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting (Year 3 / 4 experience is desirable).
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum, particularly Key Stage 2 (KS2).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
