Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 / 4 Teacher to cover maternity leave from September 2024 until July 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced teacher to join our supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils in Year 3 / 4.
- Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and setting targets.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding students’ progress and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and achievements.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Skills and Qualifications Required
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).Experience teaching in a primary school setting (Year 3 / 4 experience is desirable).Strong understanding of the National Curriculum, particularly Key Stage 2 (KS2).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to inspire and motivate students.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Commitment to ongoing professional development.Why Join Us?
