Food Technology Teacher – Secondary School – Chichester

Start Date : September 2025 | Full-Time | Temp to Perm Opportunity

Are you a passionate Food Technology Teacher looking for a fresh opportunity in a supportive and well-resourced secondary school in Chichester? GSL Education is proud to present a fantastic role for a skilled and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join a dynamic department from September 2025.

This is a full-time position with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role following a successful probation period. The school is committed to excellence in education and is seeking a practitioner who can inspire students through engaging and practical lessons in Food Technology.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to cater to varying student abilities.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic food environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Encourage creativity and independent thinking within a practical subject area.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.

The Ideal Candidate Will :

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Have experience teaching Food Technology in a UK secondary school.
  • Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Food Education.
  • Be an enthusiastic team player with strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Be committed to high standards of teaching and learning.
