Supply Teachers - Flexible Roles Across Tameside Schools

Location : Tameside, Greater Manchester

Contract Type : Flexible (Daily Supply, Short-Term, and Long-Term Opportunities)

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons and manage the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Ensure a positive and productive learning environment, maintaining high standards of behavior and engagement.
  • Provide support to students and help them stay on track with their work.
  • Follow the school's policies and procedures to ensure the continuity of learning.
  • Complete registers, manage student behavior, and ensure that any issues are reported back to the relevant staff members.

What We Are Looking For :

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification / experience.
  • Previous teaching experience (ideal but not essential).
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to working in different school environments.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • An enthusiastic and professional attitude towards teaching.
