CLASS 2 DRIVER - DAYSWORKING 5 DAYS OUT OF 7START TIMES 02 : 00 - 06 : 30PAY RATE : £14.00 PER HOUR MONDAY TO SUNDAYWhat's in it for me?People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in ASTON, WEST MIDLANDS.This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.What are the benefits?As a Class 2 Driver you will receive the following benefits : Excellent hourly ratesOngoing workWeekly payTraining providedImmediate startsDay to Day DutiesYour duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to : RDC or customer deliveries which may include hand-balling (working on curtain-side or tail lift vehicles)Operating and driving various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locationsPerforming pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsEnsuring all cargo is loaded and secured properlyAdhering to traffic laws and regulationsCommunicating effectively with dispatch and customersReporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to managementAssisting with loading and unloading of cargo as neededCompleting any paperworkEssential SkillsAs a Class 2 Driver you will need to : Hold a valid UK Category C LicenceHave a minimum of 12 months experience driving C vehiclesNo more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codesHave a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi CardMust be able to speak and read a good level of EnglishPunctuality and excellent time keeping skillsHave a good understanding of traffic laws and regulationsEffective communication skillsDesirable ExperienceExperience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficialPrevious experience with multi drop deliveries will be beneficialTrainingDriver's Assessment must be completedOngoing support provided throughoutApplyThis client values its Class 2 Drivers and provides an excellent work environment.
